18k PVD Gold-Plated Stainless Steel
The gold finish is bonded to the steel in a vacuum process called PVD, which makes it more durable than traditional plating.
14k Gold-Filled
A thick layer of real 14k gold is bonded with heat and pressure to a base-metal core, and under US standards, gold must make up at least 5% of the piece's total weight.
